Privacy policy
Last updated 2 August 2026. Short version: we collect what the application and the door need, we share the minimum with the services that run payment and delivery, and we do not sell it.
What this covers
This policy covers this website, the application at /apply, the payment link sent to approved applicants, and the ticket you receive. It applies to anyone who applies for, or attends, an FOMO event.
What we collect
When you apply, we collect your name, phone number, email address, Instagram handle and anything else the form asks for, including who referred you. If you are approved and pay, our payment processor shares back a transaction reference — we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details ourselves. We keep a record of the emails and WhatsApp/SMS messages sent to you so we can tell whether they were delivered.
How we use it
To read and decide on your application, to contact you about the outcome, to generate and deliver your ticket, to verify you at the door, and to send reminders before the show. We read Instagram profiles submitted with an application as part of deciding who to approve — nothing is scraped or stored beyond the handle itself.
Who we share it with
Razorpay processes payment for approved applicants. Resend delivers our emails. Twilio delivers WhatsApp and SMS messages. Supabase hosts our database and media. Each only receives what it needs to do that one job, and none of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell or rent applicant data to anyone.
How long we keep it
Application and ticketing data is kept for as long as needed to run the event and to meet our own accounting and legal obligations afterward, then deleted or anonymised. If your application is declined, we keep it only long enough to avoid asking you to reapply for the same show.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to jamesjofficial07@gmail.com. We will action this unless we are required to keep something for legal or accounting reasons.
Security
Ticket QR codes are cryptographically signed and single-use. Access to applicant data is restricted to the people running the event, behind a password-protected admin login. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not hold more data than the event needs, and we do not hold payment card data at all.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and, where it affects you directly, tell you by email.
